How to use the dynamic dates on Umbraco
Layout
In order to use the below shortcodes you need to enclose the letters in double curly braces - so to look as below
e.g.
Popular layouts
MM yyyy - (Sep 2025)
MMMM yyyy - (September 2025)
Days
dd - two digit day number (14) - (adds 0 in front of single digit day numbers)
ddd - abbreviated day name (Sun)
dddd - Full day name (Sunday)
Months
Months must be indicated using capitalised M's otherwise they will be interpreted as minutes.
MM - Month number (09)
MMM - abbreviated month name (Sep)
MMMM - full month name (September)
Years
yy - last two numbers of year (25)
yyyy - full year number (2025)
