iPhone 15 Plus at a glance
The iPhone 15 Plus is one of two larger models in Apple’s 2023 range, alongside the pricier, more powerful Phone 15 Pro Max.

iPhone 15 Plus availability
Apple unveiled its new iPhone 15 Plus on 12th September 2023. Preorders open on 15th September, with a full release on 22nd September.
It can be picked up in 128GB, 256GB and 512GB versions and comes in pink, yellow, green, blue and black.
iPhone 15 Plus design
The iPhone 15 Plus has one key change compared with the iPhone 14 Plus. Gone is the old notch, replaced by the cutout Dynamic Island, which houses Face ID, as well as acting as a home for notifications and additional content.
The 6.7-inch display features a resolution of 1290 x 2796 and is built for gaming and video streaming.
It’s an undoubted upgrade on the iPhone 14. What’s more, it now has USB-C instead of Apple’s own Lightning connector, bringing it in line with all other smartphones. The aluminium frame features new contoured edges and the back comes with infused glass, designed to make the colourways shine.
It isn’t quite as powerful as the iPhone 15 Pro Max, but for regular users that will not be an issue.
iPhone 15 Plus camera
The iPhone 15 Plus has the same dual lens camera as the iPhone 15. There’s a main 48MP sensor, which takes its cues from 2022’s iPhone 14 Pro, with 2x optical zoom for getting closer in on the action. The results are crisp and detailed, as good for printing out as they are for social media.
While the Pro range does offer a better camera, it’s not a dealbreaker, especially considering the high cost compared with the normal iPhone models.
4K video recording at 24fps means the iPhone 15 Plus is built for social media like TikTok and Instagram, while the 12MP front facing TrueDepth camera is ideal for selfies and video calls.

Can I get the iPhone 15 Plus with poor credit?
If you want an iPhone 15 Plus and have poor credit, you most likely won’t be able to get one on a normal contract.
Instead, you can buy the iPhone 15 Plus from Apple and pair it with a cheap, rolling 30 day SIM only contract. This will be cheaper month by month but will require a hefty outlay to secure the phone.
